Led by Dr. Taraneh Zahedi, assistant professor of Maxillofacial Radiology at UTHSCSA, our team of board certified radiologists offer you reliable radiology reports, whether your CBCT scans are taken at our scanning center or sent to us.
Accurate and thorough radiographic evaluation is a legal and ethical responsibility of every dentist. Therefore, we consider radiography reports one of our major and most critical services.
Our team provides full support in case an area of concern is detected in the radiograph, discussing all the approaches and further investigations or follow ups required.
We receive and evaluate all scans related to the oral and maxillofacial area.
All the CBCT images processed at the digital lab and all those scans that are taken at our scanning centers are reviewed by our in house Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist and an extensive radiology report is made for each patient .

Through lateral cephalometric radiographs, panoramas, AP views and CT scans of the maxillofacial complex, our radiologists are able to deliver a complete evaluation of TMJ condition. Along with patient history and physical examination, the detailed radiographic analysis of the TMJ condition ensures the best and quickest diagnosis of TMJ problems.
Evaluation of Position of Impacted and Supernumerary Teeth
Surgical extraction of impacted teeth is impossible without a complete radiographic evaluation. Details of the tooth relation to vital surrounding anatomic structures and adjacent teeth is provided along with screenshots showing the tooth in sagittal, coronal and axial planes.
Detection of Pathology and Areas of Concern
Often, radiographs detect pathologic conditions that may be asymptomatic and cannot be detected in physical examinations. A detailed radiography report helps detect and follow up pathologic conditions and areas of concern and is necessary for planning further investigation.
Maxillary Sinus Evaluation
Vital to any procedure in the maxillary area, a complete evaluation of the maxillary sinuses and related structures is provided.
